Weather Maps

Scientists called Meterologists use maps to indicate places in the world where collected data gives us information that we call weather.

These maps help the scientists and the general population see how weather travels and gives scientists the vision to predict the path weather will take. If a hurricane begins to form in the Atlantic Ocean, knowing the speed and direction of the hurricane will allow to plot its path on a map and predict where it may go next. These maps help warn of of inclement weather conditions and allow us to prepare for a weather emergency.
