What Is Air?

Air is a mixture of gases carrying a few solids such as dust. Air is found all around us. It is colorless, odorless and tasteless. Air has mass and is considered matter. Matter is anything that takes up space and has volume.

We need to prove that air takes up space and that air has mass. These experiments were developed to help prove these two points.

This mixture called air is made up of 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen and 1% of all the other gasses that slip into the air from Helium Balloons, Exhaust from cars and exhaled breaths from humans.
