BROODER - This is a box or
tank that we keep the
hatched baby animals in. It
has a heater in it, however,
it is not on a thermostat. If
the animal is warm, it
moves away from the heat
source.

EGG TOOTH - A hard lump
on the top of the beak. This
lump acts as a hammer
head. The animal can
smash the beak (with the
egg tooth on it) against the
egg shell to break out of
the egg.

- One third of
